About this project

Easel is an OpenClaw-powered workspace for social-media content work. Its documented workflow covers discovering topics, planning scripts and calendars, creating text and media, adapting material for publishing, and bringing performance information back into account profiles. It stores content and intermediate outputs as projects rather than leaving them only in conversations.

The maintainers recommend the local web frontend for managing conversations, materials, accounts and publishing. The setup wizard requires Python 3.10 or later, a compatible Node version, FFmpeg, Playwright Chromium and model configuration. At least one usable language-model API is needed; media-generation services and target-platform accounts have their own setup and fees.

The repository uses Apache-2.0. The README lists Linux, macOS and Windows installation instructions while its roadmap still includes completing the Windows workflow, so full Windows compatibility remains unresolved. It also warns about automated Xiaohongshu publishing and recommends preview, pre-publication checks and a user-confirmed manual publication path.
