guizang-product-video-skill
Guizang product video skill builds product videos from a product codebase and components, with storyboarding, browser rendering, audio, and FFmpeg export.
About this project
Guizang product video skill turns a product repository or release changes into a promotional-video project. Its workflow selects concrete changes, writes a storyboard, reuses product components and styles, renders animated scenes in a browser, prepares audio, and exports through FFmpeg. The documented output remains an editable code-based project.
The package works through compatible Codex or Claude Code hosts and uses Node.js 22 or later, Python 3.9 or later, FFmpeg and Playwright Chromium. Installation is documented through npx skills add or manual copying. A repository may still need dependencies and an appropriate demonstration state before its real components can be filmed.
The original workflow, scripts, starter project and identified original assets are AGPL-3.0. Optional CodePilot-derived components and styles in assets/fallback remain BUSL-1.1, with restrictions on paid products or services and internal use by organizations above 100 employees until the applicable license change, stated as 2029-03-16 or the earlier version-specific conversion. Using your own product style avoids assuming the fallback is freely relicensed.

Author release
The author shares and discusses updates to their product-video skill. Their testing claims are not independent Worthary validation.
Source labels distinguish recommendations, neutral mentions and the author’s own releases. Commercial relationships are unknown unless an author relationship is shown. Worthary reviews project eligibility separately.
Why it is worth a look
- Turn product changes into storyboards and release videos
- Reuse actual product components in coded animation
Before you use it
- Requires an agent host and a code-based rendering environment
- Use the AGPL original-tool scope deliberately
- Optional CodePilot fallback is BUSL-1.1 with separate commercial-use restrictions
- Product code, logos, fonts, music and other inserted assets retain their own rights

What it can do
- Turn product changes into storyboards and release videos
- Reuse actual product components in coded animation
- Editable browser-rendered scenes, audio and FFmpeg export
Who it fits
Making release videos from a product's own components; Keeping promotional scenes editable as code
Assuming every fallback asset is AGPL or unrestricted for commercial use; A one-click conversion of any repository without dependencies or preparation
Getting started
- Install the official skill in a compatible Codex or Claude Code host
- Check Node, Python, FFmpeg and browser-rendering dependencies and prepare the product's actual components
- Choose the product-style route, review key frames and audio, then render and inspect the editable video project
