About this project

qiaomu-cut is an agent skill and command-line workflow for turning a video request into an editable production project. It organizes the brief, storyboard, assets, subtitles, narration and rendering choices into a structured intermediate representation. Its documented tools include motion-graphics and audio commands, preview or final rendering, and inspection outputs such as contact sheets.

Installation uses npx skills add with the qiaomu-cut skill, followed by doctor or setup commands. Node.js 18 or later is required, with Node 20 or later for ListenHub features. Documented dependency paths use Homebrew on macOS or apt on Linux and can install FFmpeg, fonts, Playwright Chromium, Manim and selected provider tools; complete Windows support remains unverified.

The main tool is MIT-licensed, but film clips, fonts, music and provider assets are not automatically covered. Some workflows require a separately authorized 33tc adapter and logged-in application, ListenHub credentials or an agent image tool. Optional generation services have their own fees and authentication, and dependency setup may install system software rather than only copying a skill.

What it can do

  • Organize a video brief into a storyboard and reproducible project
  • Code-based motion graphics and audio workflows
  • Preview, render and inspect outputs through FFmpeg and selected engines

Who it fits

Good for

Keeping agent-made video production reproducible and editable; Building coded motion graphics with staged preview and final output

Not a fit

A fully self-contained editor without external dependencies; Assuming every suggested film clip or generated asset is licensed

Getting started

  1. Install the official qiaomu-cut skill in a compatible host
  2. Run its documented environment checks and review the dependencies that setup would install
  3. Choose authorized local assets or configured providers, inspect a preview, then render and examine the final project
