About this project

Vikunja organizes tasks into projects and subprojects. The same work can appear in list, table, Kanban or Gantt views, allowing a household or team to choose the presentation that fits its planning.

Tasks support labels, priorities, assignments, attachments, reminders, repetition and relations. Quick Add interprets dates and supported keywords, while saved filters and imports from other task tools help users maintain existing workflows.

The community server is self-hostable using an official container or binary. It stores task data and attachments on infrastructure the operator maintains. Paid Pro administration, audit and time-tracking offerings are separate from this community review.

  4. Create the intended accounts, configure protected access and verify database and file backups before routine use.
