A CAD tool for creating three-dimensional models of real objects using parameters and dimensional constraints.

Blender brings modeling, sculpting, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering and compositing into one creation environment. Work can develop around objects in a scene: establishing their shape, arranging motion and materials, then generating images or animation. Motion tracking and video editing can also participate in later production stages, connecting the scene with footage and the assembly of finished pictures.
Modeling tools cover meshes, curves and retopology, while sculpting develops surface and shape detail. Animation tools control characters and other objects, and Cycles supplies path traced rendering. Drawing can also be combined with three dimensional scenes. Configurable workspaces and the Python interface support additional tools, automation and interface changes for particular kinds of production work.
For exchange with other production stages, Blender lists formats including glTF, Alembic, USD, OBJ, STL and FBX, alongside images such as PNG, JPEG and OpenEXR. Alembic transfers animation caches, while USD exchanges scene data. These routes move different kinds of objects, from geometry and motion to rendered images, into the next part of a production pipeline.
Use an operating system and architecture listed on the official download page; Graphics drivers and OpenGL support should meet official requirements; complete minimum hardware thresholds remain Unknown in this review; Have local storage space and installation permissions; Some requirements have not been verified. Check the official setup instructions.
